Jeans fabric enterprises win awards for innovation

Haokou city hosted National Jeans Fabric Industry Meeting 2006. In this meeting, 19 manufacturers participated with 119 categories of jeans fabric and it was evaluated on the basis of fibre's structure and processing.
Many kinds of fibre like VILOFT, bright colour thread, gold and silver thread, polyester yarn, slub yarn were used in jeans fabrics.
The fabric designers enriched jeans fabric with textures like disorder lines and double-deck texture.
Mercerizing has been done to increase jeans fabric quality and the new technology like numeral printing technology, resin coat technology were applied to jeans fabrics.
In this show, seven categories of jeans fabric from six manufacturers won 'Innovation Design Prize' and 23 categories of jeans fabric from 17 manufacturers won 'Excellent New Product Prize'.
