Cottons by Century from the house of BK Birla Group announced the launch of the brand through Multi Brand Outlets in Uttar Pradesh in the capital of the city. Cottons by Century will now be expanding its distribution network across the state through this route and is expecting 300% increase in the sales from Uttar Pradesh.
Present at the occasion were Mr. Mahendra Padhy, Head of Retail and Marketing, Cottons by Century; Mr. K.S. Wasu, Regional Manager, North for the brand Cottons by Century.
Mr. Mahendra Padhy, addressing the meet said, “Cottons by Century has its presence in U.P. through 2 Exclusive Brand Outlets (EBOs) at Kanpur and Hazratgunj. Through the MBO route we shall expand our distribution network in Eastern U.P. in the next 6 months. We have experienced a great response for our business from the existing EBOs and hence are expecting an increase of 300% of business through the MBO route from U.P. in this FY”.
Cottons by Century currently has its presence across the country through 78 EBO's and 400 MBO's. Cottons by Century is the only menswear brand that manufactures 100% cotton T-shirts, Shirts, Trousers, Kurta – Pyjamas, Boxer Shorts, Nightwear and Corduroy pants.
The outlet also stocks ties, belts, wallets, stocks, pullovers and jackets manufactured by its sub-brand Centurion by Century. The brand soon plans to foray into the Women's Wear.
