Textile materials price quotations – Jan 9

Yesterday, PTA price had a slight elevation, MEG price grew steady, semi-dull and bright polyester chips, CDP and PET bottle chip prices moved in a dull state, polyester staple fiber price fell.
Acrylic staple fiber 1.5D×38mm and acrylic top 3D x 102mm prices were stable.
CPL, nylon-6 chip prices consolidated. Polyester filament market weakened, transaction varieties were more scattered, and some prices were reduced.
Generally, among the conventional downstream varieties, fabrics faced sales pressure; production enthusiasm of weaving enterprises began to slow down. Sales in polyester yarn market stayed on the low side, many enterprises said they got inventory pressures.
Polyester yarn market seemed to continue a tired situation.
Yarn and thread market was basically stable. Cotton yarn J40s was still salable. Cotton-polyester yarn, PV yarn had smooth performance. Pure polyester yarn stepped into a falling trend.
Trade of rayon yarn was small, while price trend submitted to a rising movement. Main factors were from the upper reaches of viscose staple. Viscose staple fiber prices increased.
Rayon yarn market is expected to be strong driven by the elevating in raw materials prices.
