Yancheng Textile Machinery Industry, a high-tech base

It is learned from the State Ministry of Science and Technology, Yancheng Textile Machinery Industry recently has been approved as the country's high-tech characteristic industrial base.
Yancheng city has provided vigorous support to the development of the textile machinery industry. Now the city has initially formed industrial clusters, which are featured as high-tech textile machinery industry.
In 2005 the base realized output value of 3.8 billion yuan, profits of 470 million yuan and exports of US $40 million.
Now there are five textile machinery companies in Yancheng city being identified as the first backbone enterprises for the high-tech characteristic industrial base.
