Innovations Minister Stanca says Govt to support textiles

The Government is studying textile industries issues, informed Innovation Minister Lucio Stanca while addressing the textiles association meeting in Milan.
Stanca said two years back, the government approved e-Commerce funds worth 173n euro, 37 of which were entirely earmarked for the textiles, clothing and shoe industries. The allocations involved joint ICT platforms.
About 660 projects were funded for the benefit of 996 businesses covering 60 percent of entire project overheads, half of which allocated one-off, free of charge, the other at discount interest rates, he added.
