Sales of domestic fashion goods to increase in 2007

Fashion designers and industry experts revealed that fashion design series of Vietnam in 2007 would include only simple sports style suits.
Leading companies like Max, Nino, PT 2000 started to develop their fashion series that would be made of visco, elastic, cotton etc.
These materials are cheaper and considered to be suitable for tropical climate of Vietnam.
Van Thanh Cong, a young fashion designer, is of the opinion that Made–in–China currently occupies up to 90 percent of local fashion market.
Therefore Vietnam Association of Fashion designers took measures to capture local market again.
In 2007, price of fashion goods is expected to decline at 50 percent because of increase in sales of Made–in–Vietnam fashion goods.
