Motexha 2007, largest textiles, leather and fashion accessories trade exhibition, is expected to boost domestic textile industry of over US $12 billion.

This three-day event will be held in Dubai International Exhibition Centre (DIEC) from March 19 to 21, 2007.

The event serves as an interactive platform where industry professionals can establish trade ties and cultivate profitable business transactions.

In this event, about 250 exhibitors from over 30 countries are expected to participate, a hike of 35 percent over previous year.

Ladies' Wear & Fashion Accessories will be the main attraction of the show along with international brands and franchise labels.

Textiles are biggest re-export commodity that has trade value of more than $2 billion in 2005.

Similarly, footwear market has also grown rapidly valued at over $ 300 million annually.

Motexha is officially supported by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and by Texmas, the 300 member strong textile merchants group and promoters of the AED 220 million Dubai Textile City.

The show is also promoted by organizations like National Agency for Export Development (NAFED) of Indonesia, China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery (CCCT), APICCAPS of Portugal and Thailand's Department of Export Promotion (DEP).
