Kisa is worn by the people of rural area and was fashionable among bedouin tribes in past.

Ma'awiz was named after Al-Saidoon, who was admired for producing beautiful ma'awiz.

This is available in three varieties namely assafi, al-kada and annaqshah.

During 70s, Cooperative Society for Weaving Industries was established in Rawdhah to promote ma'awiz in the region.
