After receiving invitation form Chairman of Ministers' Council of Italy, Romano Prodi, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung is going to visit Italy tomorrow.
Visit is expected to boost economic, investment and bilateral trade relations between both the countries.
According to schedule, both sides will discuss on four agreements including small and medium-sized enterprise and cooperation between Hanoi and Lazio region of Italy.
In European Countries, Italy was one of the first countries to establish and develop economic cooperation.
In 2006, trade volume between both countries stood at EUR870 million compared to EUR700 million in previous year.
Vietnam imports goods like leather, chemicals and household commodities and exports footwear, textile and garment, fine art and handicraft products to Italy.
