John Fleming appointed as new Wal-Mart CMO

Biggest global retailer Wal-Mart has appointed John Fleming as its new Chief Merchandizing Officer. This position is newly created and Fleming works in the company as Chief Marketing Officer.
Fleming was previously working for Target, he joined the company in 2000. He is recruited for one year of a three year strategy by Wal-Mart.
He will lead two fresh organizations, one of which is aimed at planning, pricing and product stocking. Other one will try to enhance number of consumers and give them satisfaction.
Fleming will be responsible for bringing in more money from rich consumers. He will also try to raise number of shoppers having less income, who cannot afford to spend much.
