Health Association drafts standards for textiles

The Health Association organised '2007 work meeting for health industry', on January 23. During the meeting, the 'healthy textile' standard was discussed.
These standards include technique inspection, testing ways of samples, category and it should meet the requirements of related international standards.
It is the first standardization technique document in healthy textile industry and has become the technical reference for Chinese Commerce Department for approving healthy textile.
For the first time the Chinese Health Association has set standard for 'bamboo carbon fibre' which has been worked out by the country's Knitting Association. Health Association will work out the standards of other functional fibres for healthy textile.
