Kylie Minogue exhibition will take place during February 8 to June 10, 2007 at Victoria and Albert Museum.

This exhibition will explore Kylie Minogue as a popular style icon and international performer. Featuring costumes, accessories, photographs, sound and video, the exhibition will look at Kylie's career and changing image.

'Kylie' will also examine life behind the scenes and give some insight into how a major international tour develops - from initial concept to first live performance.

200 objects including 45 costumes and 60 photographs will be on display, including the overalls Kylie wore as Charlene in Neighbours and the gold lame hotpants she wore in her Spinning Around video in 2000. Hats by Stephen Jones and costumes from recent tours will also be featured.

The exhibition is created and designed by the Arts Centre, Melbourne, home to Australia's biggest performing arts archive, including material generously donated by Kylie Minogue.

The purpose of the Victoria and Albert Museum is to enable everyone to enjoy its collections and explore the cultures that created them; and to inspire those who shape contemporary design.

All our efforts are focused upon a central purpose - the increased use of our displays, collections and expertise as resources for learning, creativity and enjoyment by audiences within and beyond the United Kingdom.
