IntercontinentalExchange, the leading electronic energy marketplace, announced new electronic trading hours for its regulated subsidiary the New York Board of Trade (NYBOT), the leading soft commodity exchange.
Effective February 20, 2007, the electronic trading hours will be extended to operate from 1:30 a.m. ET to 3:15 p.m. ET for NYBOT's Sugar No. 11 (SB), Sugar No.14 (SE), Cotton No. 2 (CT), Coffee “C” (KC), and Cocoa (CC) products. Electronic trading hours for the Frozen Concentrated Orange Juice (OJ) market will remain at 7:00 a.m. ET to 3:15 p.m. ET.
The extended trading hours are based on demand for electronic market access during the European and Asian trading day. NYBOT's open outcry trading hours remain unchanged.
