Other than creating new fashions many different options are coming up for the designers of the new era. Their career options are finding various paths to explore.

Established and young fashion designers are now eager to find ways to promote the profiles of their own brands and generate additional revenues.

Various agencies like Designers Management Agency (DMA) from New York are coming up as the creative artists agency for the luxury fashion industry.

These agencies are serving as a link between high profile designers and mass-market manufacturers and retailers, helping to improve trade for both patrties.

The Houston designer, Chloe Dao, has signed five brand-extension deals. Los Angeles designer Monique Lhullier, known for her lace wedding gowns, will create a bridal suite at a new resort owned by Sir Richard Branson in Somerset County, New Jersey.

Reputed apparel makers like Jones Apparel Group Inc. and Liz Claiborne Inc and consumer product companies like Procter and Gamble and Unilever NV are also taking the help of these agencies to grab deals with fashion designers.
