'Experience sharing of cluster development initiative' seminar today

A one-day seminar on Experience Sharing of Cluster Development Initiative is being held at Shantipur, Nadia district, West Bengal, today.
Master weavers, yarn traders, dyers and other trader participants totalling 250, are participating in the seminar, according to Saumen Mapdar, Cluster Development Agent.
Cluster development programmes help various cluster actors and state holders to develop consensus-based vision of a cluster development and also strengthen their capacity to act upon such vision in collective manner.
Notably, Shantipur cluster is being designated as handloom cluster as this sector holds prospects and may turn out to be another successful Government intitiative.
