Ruddick announces reelection of Directors & Qtly dividend

Ruddick Corporation reported that at its Annual Meeting of Shareholders Alan T. Dickson, Anna Spangler Nelson, Bailey W. Patrick and Robert H. Spilman, Jr. were reelected to the Board of Directors to serve for three-year terms expiring in 2010.
Shareholders also approved the Ruddick Corporation Cash Incentive Plan and the Addendum to the Ruddick Corporation 2002 Comprehensive Stock Option and Award Plan.
In addition, the Company announced that its Board of Directors, at a regularly scheduled meeting, declared a quarterly dividend in the amount of $0.11 per share to be paid on April 1, 2007, to shareholders of record on March 9, 2007.
