NCC to host media briefing regarding cotton

On Thursday, February 22 at 11 a.m. CST, the National Cotton Council will host a media briefing via conference call regarding the separate treatment that cotton is receiving in World Trade Organization negotiations.
Cotton producers Woody Anderson, Colorado City, TX, and David Burns, Laurel Hill, NC, will be joined by Woods Eastland, an official with Staplcotn Cooperative in Greenwood, MS, on the call and will provide statements and answer questions.
The briefing will be moderated by Jay Hardwick, a Newellton, LA, cotton producer who is chairman of the NCC's American Cotton Producers. To access the conference call, dial the toll-free access number 800-377-8846 and enter participant code 39804073.
