'Garment Expo 2007' for benefit of small entrepreneurs

BANGALORE:
Small Industries Service Institute (SISI) has organised a three-day buyers sellers meet titled "Garment Expo 2007" in the city from March 2.
Union Minister for Small Scale Industries Mahaveer Prasad and State Minister for Small Scale Industries Shivanand Nayak would inaugurate the expo.
The expo is organized in association with Department of Industries and Commerce to provide a platform to various small and medium enterprises to display and sell their products.
Entrepreneurs will also have an opportunity to showcase their products, identify buyers and suppliers of other inputs, including finance.
Around 100 large, medium and small manufacturers of fabrics, textiles, accessories for designing readymade garments, machinery and equipment from India and abroad were likely to participate, said, S S Dhillon, Director, SSI.
During the exhibition, seminars and open house discussions on entrepreneurship would be conducted.
