Eco-crafts Bazar concludes

IMPHAL:
Eco-crafts Bazar, an exhibition for sale of handloom and handicraft products organised by Creations Society for Handicrafts and Goodwills since February 15 concluded today at Mapal Kangjeibung here.
Joint Director of Art and Culture Dr K Subita and noted writer MK Binodini were Chief Guest and President of the function.
There was a need to develop cottage, handloom, handi-crafts and other small scale industries in Manipur using available natural resources, said the dignitaries.
The first prize in the category of Best Product, Innovative and Display in the exhibition has been awarded to Panthoibi Crafts, Pungdongbam.
The second and the third prize were won by Khwai Crafts, Sega Road and Shaphi Lamphi, Wangkhei respectively.
Crafts persons were honoured and awarded certificates in the fucntion for displaying excellent exhibits during the 10-day long fair.
