Together, TEXWORLD and IFTH want to create an international trademark for an “Overall Quality” offer intended exclusively for Texworld exhibitors with an international deployment planned subsequently within Messe Frankfurt.
As of the exhibition's September 2007 session, specific signage on the booths and marking of the samples and reference models tested will clearly identify this trademark.
Meeting consumer expectations The European consumer is more and more sensitive to potential risks linked to health and product safety (allergies, cancer risks, suffocation, etc.).
Moreover, regulations are becoming more complex, with directives on azoic colouring agents, Nickel (primarily in accessories such as zippers, buttons, fastenings, etc.), Cadmium (found in certain types of coating), and regulations on formaldehyde in certain countries.
Furthermore, products circulate in greater and greater numbers, in a world more and more concerned with protecting the planet and its inhabitants.
Why IFTH? By choosing to enter into a partnership with IFTH, Texworld has favoured not only this Centre's internationally recognised technical skills, but its network and its dynamic policy as well, which has led the Institute to enter partnerships and create joint-ventures as far away as China, with its counterpart CMA.
IFTH - As a centre of technological skills assisting in textile innovation, IFTH has developed a network of technological platforms in order to propose its services with high added value to industrial textile and Apparel companies in material engineering, their finishing, and in product design and marketing thanks to workshops and digital tools.
