Yemeni Education and Relief Organization (YERO) hosted the first expo for local and imported handicrafts on February 22, 2007, which saw participation of businesswomen, organizations and YERO kids. Aim of the exhibition was to facilitate charitable associations in Yemen.

International Women's Association (IWA) had organized this event. Its proceeds will go to ladies' and kids' charitable organizations as well as recreational foundations conducting educational activities.

Traditional tower houses made from cardboard by YERO's children, along with paintings and photographic arts by Abdullah Al-Haimai and Hanan Al-Matari were displayed. Yemeni buildings prepared from cartons by a YERO trainee Piasher Al-Thabibei were also showcased.

Best part of the exhibition were children's paintings, which expressed their talent. Many people complained of prices being unjust.

YERO Director Nouri Naji was pleased to witness various foundations and organizations participate for charity. This kind of event was arranged at YERO for first time and she expects similar activities to be held soon.
