Peter Morrissey of the world-renowned MORRISSEY fashion label is using Australian Merino wool to create many of his stylish garments.
“Australian Merino wool textiles always inspire me to create something new and fabulous – you just can't go past the wearability of the fibre. I like big chunky knit woollen jumpers and the versatility of stretch suiting,” said Peter Morrissey.
“MORRISSEY is for men and women who have an intrinsic desire to look and feel sensual without fuss, to live a fast modern lifestyle with ease, and to complement their best assets to full potential without ever looking like they've gone out of their way.”
MORRISSEY uses Australian Merino wool in its distinguished corporate uniforms, for prestigious clients such as Qantas (Australia's national airline) and McDonald's.
“MORRISSEY is about celebrating life to the full… I don't make clothes to protect you from the rain. I make them so you forget it's raining,” said Peter Morrissey.
Peter grew up in an era when wool was extremely prominent, and has never moved away from using Australian Merino wool through his fashion collections.
