Fourth Global Textile Economy Forum to be held in Beijing

Sponsored by the China Textile Industry Association, the fourth "Global Textile Economic Forum" will be held in Beijing on March 23, 2007.
Based on the themes of science and technology, brands and international collaboration, Association will invite leaders of textile and garment associations in different countries, famous entrepreneurs, branding specialists, scientists, economists and sociologists.
The forum will discuss following issues:
* Inherent relationship and development trends between "science and technology, brands and international cooperation of textile industry" and the global economy, politics, science and technology, culture and consumption.
* How to use complementary advantages between developed countries, developing countries and the relatively poor countries, and so on.
Global Textile Economic Forum, as a high-level international industry economic forum has been started since 2004. The forum has got the widespread attention and active participation of the international economic organizations, non-governmental organizations, the foreign diplomatic institutions in China, the major trade associations, transnational business organizations and well-known enterprises.
Chinese Government attaches great value to the forum as it has played a positive role in strengthening multilateral cooperation for the development of national textile industry.
