Exquisite products in traditional motifs and designs created by artisans of Gujarat are on display at handicrafts exhibition organized by Gujarat State Handloom and Industrial Cooperative Federation Limited in the city.
The handicraft exhibition has been inaugurated at Maharashtra Mandal near Asilmetta Junction on Thursday, will remain open between 10 am and 9 pm till March 19.
Gujarati handicrafts exhibition is showcasing rich embroidery work from Kutch and Banki, Ajraku and Chuni (block print) material are the major attractions. Ethnic textiles, ornaments, Ayurvedic mouth fresheners and toys made from terracotta, jute and wooden material too are equally well received at the expo.
