Garment machinery show III CONFEMAQ in Buenos Aires

Organized by Mundo Textil Magazine and Hs Eventos, from 21st to 23rd May 2007, III CONFEMAQ, Garment Industry Machinery Show will be held in Costa Salguero Center, Buenos Aires, ARGENTINA in simultaneously with X EMITEX, Suppliers for Textile & Garment Industries Show.

More than 15.000 visitors came from all over Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Venezuela, Peru, Mexico, Ecuador and Colombia, came to attended the show.

The Argentine Garment Industry Machinery sector, specially sewing and embroidery, has been the one that greater amount of investments registers inside the textile industry.

The numbers are clear on the matter: during the 2006 they were invested more than 16 million dollars in machines for sewing, and almost 10 millions in embroidery machines, being the main origins from China, Japan, Taiwan and Korea, following Italy and Germany.

The increase with respect to the previous year in investments for the industry was 40% and CONFEMAQ accompanies this growth duplicating the surface.

COMFEMAQ offer, with an international level, the latest developments in equipment, technologies, suppliers and accessories for the Garment Industry, meeting approximately 80 producers worldwide.
