Chagan Lal and Sons, a textile firm based in Jaipur, will help out such cricket fans as it has shipped around 16,000 flags of all 16 participating countries to the West Indies to be sold during the six-week championship.
"We are happy that cricket buffs from all over the world will be flying Jaipur-made flags," Vishnu Agarwal, one of the owners of the company, said. "We are expecting repeat orders in the next few weeks."
The flags, each measure 27 by 42 inches (70 by 100 centimetres), and have been designed to be lightweight so that it can flutter attractively, Agarwal said.
