Govt promotes bilateral trade with Pakistan

Government is taking aggressive measures to strengthen trade relations with Pakistan.

New Delhi-based Ambassador of Dominican Republic, Hans Dannenberg Castellanos is currently on a three-day tour of Pakistan, striving to improve bilateral trade of the countries.

Caribbean Sea island nation also expressed keen interest to set up embassy in Islamabad.

Castellanos said at a press meet in Lahore that Dominican delegations visiting India will be urged to visit Pakistan as well.

He added, “We are currently in a process of formalizing our diplomatic relations with all the Asian countries including Pakistan.”
