Visaka Industries' turnover to reach Rs375 cr this year

Total turnover for Visaka Industries this year is likely to be around Rs375 crore, with yarn business clocking an Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization (Ebitda) margin of about 17 percent, said V Vallinath, Senior Vice President-Finance, Visaka Industries.
Of the total turnover of Rs375 crore expected this year, about 28 percent would come from yarn unit and about 2-3 percent will be coming from garment business, he said.
Garment unit of Visaka Industries was recently set up in Chennai and is relatively a nascent business with production commencing just one year back and its turnover is likely to be around Rs6-7 crore this year, whereas synthetic yarn unit at Nagpur is likely to clock a turnover of around Rs100 crore, elaborated Vallinath.
