GJIIE 2007 concludes successfully

The recently concluded 3rd Gem & Jewellery India International Exhibition (GJIIE 2007), Chennai at Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai from March 2 – 5, 2007 was a glowing success by all accounts.
The majority of the participants were extremely happy and pleased with the response from the show and have committed their participation again next year in a bigger way.
GJIIE Chennai is the first and the only Business-to-Business Trade Fair on Jewellery in South India organized By the Trade and For the Trade by the Madras Jewellers & Diamond Merchants Association (MJDMA) and Professionally Event managed by Expoworld, Bangalore.
The show is supported by World Gold Council, Diamond Trading Corporation & Platinum Guild International was the need of the hour in South India as this region is the largest Jewellery Consumer in India and also is fastest growing.
More than 150 Participants from all over India participated in 3rd GJIIE Chennai. The show attracted over 10,000 Quality Visitors, majority of whom came from interiors of Tamilnadu, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala.
Some of the big time Jewellery Retailers like Alukaas, Kerala also spent a considerable amount of time at the exhibition.The 3rd GJIIE Chennai was inaugurated by the Mayor of Chennai Shri. M. Subramaniam. The high point of the exhibition was a well orchestrated glamorous Fashion Show which was well attended.
