Pure benzene spot market in Eastern China was stable on March 14 and main trade price was in the range of 9300-9400 yuan per metric ton.
Market sentiment was dull, mainly due to overhaul plan of downstream factories, coupled with the earlier arrival of supplementary pure benzene imports. Domestic supply and demand situation of pure benzene is no longer tight, buyers are not active to purchase.
It is reported that the coming styrene and phenol overhaul device will reduce the use of pure benzene. Due to poor demand from downstream market, related aniline market shows descending trend.
