Brazilian companies do business at Colombiatex

Another edition of Colombiatex was held between January 23 and 25 in the city of Medellin, Colombia. This time, a group of 20 Brazilian companies was organized by ABIT, through the Texbrasil Program with the support of APEX-Brasil: Advance, Branyl, Brasiris, Cataguases, Cedro, Fabrica Renaux, Horizonte Textil, Hudtelfa, Latina Textil, Linhas Setta, Manufatora, Paraguacu Textil, Paramount Textil, Salotex, Santana Textil do Brasil, Santanense, Santista Textil, Suape Textil/Corduroy, Vicunha Textil and Zanotti.

For the occasion, they introduced looks produced by Brazilian stylists with national fabrics. It was called the “Vista Brasil” exhibit, and it was open to the public on January 24 and 25. The exhibit was located at Space 230, near the Hall, and it revealed an exclusive interpretation of renowned stylists and new talents about Brazilian products exhibited at Colombiatex, always considering the latest trends in the world of fashion.

The “Vista Brasil” exhibit was an opportunity for visitors to this edition of Colombiatex to see part of the vast range of possibilities available for using Brazilian fabrics, as well as the chance to get to know up close the work by stylists like Ronaldo Fraga, Caio Gobbi, Gloria Coelho, Tereza Santos, Fabia Bercsek and Samuel Cirnansk, who are part of the official Brazilian fashion calendar - Sao Paulo Fashion Week.

Colombiatex received a total of 450 exhibiters and more than 8900 visitors. Altogether, the Brazilian group made more than 2890 contacts with visitors from countries like the United States, Mexico, Spain, France, Italy, among others. According to the Brazilian exhibiters, business of around US$ 10.5 million was generated. Business perspectives for the next 12 months are projected at US$ 45.6 million.
