Textile companies attend Federal Trade Fair in Moscow

Pakistan Government has sent six textile companies to Moscow at Federal Trade Fair for Textile held from March 27 to 30. This exhibition provided a platform for local traders to promote their goods in Russian markets.
Minister for Textile Mushtaq Ali Cheema and Ambassador of Pakistan to Russia Mustafa Kamal Kazi visited this exhibition.
In a meeting with Pakistani traders, Cheema discussed methods of exploring opportunities for textile goods in Russia.
Cheema stressed that Government is trying hard to strengthen economic ties between Pakistan and Russia by increasing trade in textile sector.
The Ambassador revealed that trade between the two countries increased up to US $560 million and therea are possibilities to enhance it further.
Both the Minister and Ambassador agreed that in order to increase exports of Pakistani goods to Russia, aggressive marketing strategy is required.
