Home and beyond expo from April 15-18

Four-day "Home and Beyond" show scheduled to open at India Expo Centre and Mart on Greater Noida Expressway from April 15 2007 to April18, will showcase household products as well as exquisite handicrafts.
The expo "Home and Beyond" will display ethnic and traditional furniture, cane and bamboo products, wall decorations, textiles and fabrics, carpets, floorings, embroideries and knits besides home decorative items, kitchenware, table lamps and lighting accessories.
"The past ten years have been the golden era for handicraft items in the export market. Earlier, exporters were reluctant to sell their products to domestic consumers but not any more as big companies like the US-based Wal-Mart are entering the Indian market," said Indian Exposition Mart Limited Managing Director Rakesh Kumar at a press conference here on Friday.
