EX•TRACTS with New York International Gift Fair at Metropolitan Pavilion

New discoveries in beauty and wellness will expand by 50% to feature some 90 personal care suppliers for the 22nd semi-annual edition, Sunday, August 12, through Wednesday, August 15, 2007, at New York City's Metropolitan Pavilion. More than 5,000 buyers are expected to attend.
According to Rita Malek, show manager, EX•TRACTS experienced a successful winter 2007 edition, with more than 5,000 attendees visiting the Metropolitan Pavilion during the show's four-day run.
“Based on positive feedback from both exhibitors and attendees this January, and in connection with George Little Management, LLC (GLM)'s decision to move its New York Home Textiles Show exhibitors from the Metropolitan Pavilion to the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in August, we have decided to expand the show.”
In August 2007, EX•TRACTS will utilize a total of 9,000 net square feet of exhibit space, on both the 4th and 5th floors of the Metropolitan Pavilion and on street level of the adjacent Altman Building.
Some 90 companies, featuring cosmetics, perfumes, skincare, bath & body care, beauty accessories, hair care, natural and organic products and well-being lines are expected to participate.
Beyond exhibits, GLM will offer buyers a number of amenities connected with the Show.These include “Daily Indulgences,” featuring complimentary beverages, snacks and massages, educational seminars relevant to personal care retailing, after-hours entertainment options, complimentary shuttle buses serving all market locations and specially-priced travel and hotel accommodations.
