Chemical fibre industry to implement strategic shift

On March, 28, China Chemical Fibre Industrial Association held a meeting in Tongxiang of Zhejiang province to discuss the implementation of technical benefits in 11th Five-Year Plan.
During the meeting, it was also pointed out that development of high-technical fibre, biological fibre and differential fibre is necessary in present competitive world.
A total of 113 people including the leaders of State Development and Reform Commission, China Chemical Fibre Industrial Association, local Government, and related department attended this meeting.
According to 11th Five-Year Plan, chemical fibre industry will ensure that proportion of differential fibre reach 40 percent, investment for technical research reach over 1 percent of the sales income, electricity consumption will decrease by 20 percent, water consumption will decrease by 10 percent, emitted waste water will decrease by 10 percent, the emitted waste gas will decrease by 10 percent.
