CII also commended the Committee's suggestion that PPP arrangements in every sub-sector to upgrade Mumbai's infrastructure are essential for realizing this dream of making Mumbai a 'global' city and resolve the deficiencies in its weakening infrastructure.
Accompanying the infrastructural modification will have to be overall progress, regulation and streamlining of the domestic financial markets.
The mechanisms and practices of the domestic market will have to be aligned so that they are able to support the activities of the international markets.
