Zhejiang textile machinery exports double by Feb

According to the General Statistics Office of Ningbo Customs, Zhejiang exports of textile machinery and parts reached US $61.48 million in January-February, an increase of 130 percent.

Textile machinery exports of the province were mainly in general trade, with exports reaching $60.26 million, a growth of 130 percent, accounting for 98 percent of total exports.

Private enterprises and foreign-invested enterprises were main export forces, their exports amounted to $36.32 million and $12.5 million, rising 1.6 times and 99.5 percent, respectively, the two figures together accounted for 79.4 percent of total exports.

India is the largest export market of Zhejiang textile machinery and parts, exports to India reached $33.57, rising 2.7 times, accounting for 54.6 percent of total exports.

The rapid development of India's textile and garment industry has increased their demand for textile machinery. Zhejiang Textile Machinery is warmly welcomed by Indian textile enterprises due to their high-quality and low-cost, which contributed to the double growth of the exports of Zhejiang textile machinery.
