Khadi helps to beat the heat

With the rising mercury level, sale of khadi, cotton and spun silk dress materials is witnessing a remarkable growth.
Sarees and kurtas made of cotton materials have a high demand. Customers, mainly middle aged, are opting for the 'kalkari brand', t-shirts printed with herbal paints.
Women are choosing from variety of saris like khadi silk of Batik print, Chungudi, Banaras, Pattambi silk and Payyannur. Cotton saris with a single work of paint or thread are more in demand.
These materials come quite cheap as compared to other branded material, and have good quality and durability and make the environment happy as well.
