UCMTF to organize textile machinery seminars in India

The French Textile Machinery Manufacturers Association (UCMTF) and the Economic Department of the Embassy of France in India organize two seminars on April 24 (Delhi) and 27 (Mumbai) for the textile producers of India.
France is the 5th exporter of textile machinery worldwide with total exports of more than US$ 1 billion. India is a major and more and more important market for textile machinery.
“We recognize the importance of direct contacts with our customers and future customers in India. We consider them as long term partners whom we need to meet in their own main production areas” states UCMTF's President Bruno Ameline who will personally attend the seminars.
9 French companies, most of them world leaders in their specialities, will present their own perspectives on the future of the textile industry and the machinery they offer to be most efficient and transform the opportunities of the multiple textile markets into new products with worldwide recognition: Laroche, N. Schlumberger, Asselin-Thibeau, Rieter Perfojet, RITM, Fil Control, Superba, Stäubli, Ebelmann.
6 workshops will analyze the market trends, the business opportunities and offer technical solutions for enhancing the competitiveness of the Indian textile industry for their own domestic market as well as exports.
During her visit early February, UCMTF's Secretary General, Mrs Evelyne Cholet met with many textile producers who expressed a great interest for the seminars and got the support of major Indian associations.
