Textile material prices show firm trend

PTA, MEG prices started to pick up and prices of semi-dull, bright polyester chips, CDP chip continued to climb up. PET bottle and polyester staple fiber price was also on the rise.
Acrylic Staple fiber 1.5D × 38 mm, acrylic top 3D x 102mm prices settled flat, CPL price showed minor hike, price of nylon chip moved sideways.
Trade turnover of polyester filament was not bad; across-board mainstream prices were on down side. From the variety trend, DTY75D/72F for weaving machines attracted considerable demand, FDY75D/72F was fairly popular.
Although cloth market prices did not follow the uptrend, the prices from upper reaches of raw materials PTA, polyester chip made up movement. Polyester filament market as a whole is expected to increase, and the probability of going higher is in predominance.
All cotton yarn prices were stable and price trend of pure polyester yarn continued to follow market rally. Cotton-polyester yarn recorded slight change while rayon yarn prices were on a following rise.
Prices of individual PV yarns gave the sign of up moving. Polyester staple fiber and viscose staple fiber prices were in uptrend. Rayon yarn and all cotton yarn markets are expected to experience rally.
