Malaysia Premier Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi met with the Kenyan President Mwai Kibaki in Nairobi where both parties signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to execute science and technology projects.
Both countries promised cooperation and planned to boost trade relations, which will help improve economic growth.
The agreement includes establishment of a joint commission and joint trade committee to promote smooth trade relations.
This pact will assist Kenya to enhance its technical areas and also develop modern infrastructure.

He explained, “For example, Kenya has agricultural and mineral resources, while Malaysia's comparative advantage is in secondary industrial products such as machinery, chemical and chemical products."
