Curtains, wall coverings, lamp-chimney, ikebana, frame, clothespress, leisure table or any form of decoration; the Chinese are spending big money on all these.

In fact, textile and fabric designers have been striving to bring out new and innovative designs that will not only furnish but decorate interiors.

Here, primary objective is to put out a 'green' design that is eco and enviro friendly.

Secondly, fabric used in decorating the rooms must carry eye pleasing designs and display warmth.

Third and the most important buying factor for a particular fabric is based on the price front.

Currently, Shanghai residences have displayed prominently this trend where fabrics of all kinds adorn the households to add to basic comforts for its residents clearly showing a marked uptrend on the rise in spend for interior decoration.
