Heberlein to sell Fibrevision products

Following Saurer's investment in Fibrevision and purchase of Heberlein in 2005, the two companies have started to work more closely together.

This has now resulted in a strategic decision for Heberlein to take over full responsibility for the sales and support for most of Fibrevision products in initially approximately 50% of world markets including all Western and Eastern European countries except Germany and Italy.

The Fibrevision products to be handled by Heberlein in these countries are:
- FibreTQS On Line Monitoring for
- POY + FDY
- DTY
- ATY
- Air Covering
- Microscan At Line QC equipment

For technical yarns, Heberlein will continue to offer their Fraytec monitoring, but the development of Visotec monitoring for ATY has been discontinued.

FibreTQS for Technical Yarns and other speciality products including BCF, Spandex, Cabling and Monofilament will initially continue to be sold and supported directly by Fibrevision for all Markets.

Heberlein Fasertechnologie AG is the world-wide leading supplier of air interlacing and air texturing jets as well as sensors for synthetic continuous filament and staple fiber yarns.
