The students have used the best possible techniques to complete their projects which were largely sponsored by companies like ITC Wills Lifelstyle Uni Style Image, Texport Industries, Monte Carlo, Orient Craft, Arvind Mills, Raymonds Madura Garments, Indian Terrain, Impulse International, Shibani Inwear to name a few.
With jobs already in their hands these about 40 students are ready to create their own statement in the industry. TANTU 2007 is just the depiction of their creativity and their strength in their respective areas.
While going back to the programmes, the Textile Designing and Knitwear Designing Programmes are amongst the most popular programmes in the fashion industry. The way industry is expanding and keeping in view the climate variations in different countries, the demand for textile experts and knitwear experts is bound to increase multi-fold. In India the knitwear is already a boom.
At present NIFT is offering Textile Programme in New Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad and Kolkata, and the Knitwear Programme in New Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata and Mumbai.
