Nitin Spinners Ltd has informed that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on May 01, 2007, inter alia, has transacted the following:

Commencement of Commercial Production on Expanded capacity.

The Company has successfully implemented Expansion Project of 50400 Spindles and Knitting Machines and commercial production on the expanded capacity commenced on May 01, 2007.

Further, the Installation of Thermal Power Project of 10.50 MW and expansion of Rotor Spinning capacity by addition of 2000 rotors at total project cost of Rs 78.00 crores is under implementation and expected to be completed during this year.

Nitin produces single & multifold yarns in the range Ne 4 to Ne 40 suitable for various applications viz Knitted Fabrics, Woven Fabrics, Terry Towels, Denims, Furnishing Fabrics, Carpets and other industrial Fabrics. It also manufactures knitted fabric suitable for Apparel and Garment Industry. It has exported yarn and knitted fabric to all continents in over 20 countries.

Nitin at present has an installed Capacity of 27216 Spindles, 1872 Rotors and 15 Knitting Machines. Nitin is situated on N.H.No.79, Hamirgarh, 16 KM away from Bhilwara the textile city of Rajasthan in India.
