South India Cotton Association (SICA) has planned to organize an interactive session on May 12 in Coimbatore, where around 100 cotton growers, scientists as well as trade and industry members will take part.
The meeting is jointly organized by Southern India Mills' Association, Cotton Corporation of India and Cotton Development and Research Association.
According to K N Viswanathan, SICA Secretary, this discussion would help to monitor state wise production of cotton and to improve the average yield to reach international level which would further benefit the farmers.
