First 'Wash & Dyeing Management Methods' to be carried out

There are over 3000 laundries in Wuhan city, and many laundries do not have the necessary technology, and the management in laundry industry is also out of order.
In order to standardize domestic laundry industry, Government of China recently issued the first "Wash and Dyeing Management Methods", which will be formally carried out from July 1, 2007.
According to this statute, laundry and dyeing shops must comply with laws and standards in safety, sanitation, environment protection, water saving, energy saving and so on, and must have the necessary equipments and technology.
This decision will definitely make the laundry business costlier as earlier one had to invest around RMB20,000, but now investor has to have RMB70,000 to open a laundry.
