Nuance-Watson named “Asia Pacific Travel Retailer Of The Year”

"Best Fragrances & Cosmetics Travel Retailer in Asia Pacific": Nuance-Watson (Singapore)
Recognition for The Nuance Group and its Nuance-Watson joint ventures at the Raven Fox Awards for Travel Retail Excellence in Asia Pacific: Nuance-Watson (Singapore), the incumbent Perfumes & Cosmetics retailer at Singapore Changi Airport, was named both “Asia Pacific Travel Retailer of the Year” as well as “Fragrances & Cosmetics Travel Retailer of the Year”, while Nuance-Watson (Hong Kong) and The Nuance Group Australia and New Zealand were “Highly Commended” in four and one categories, respectively.

The Awards were received by Ken Tse, Executive General Manager Nuance-Watson (Singapore) last night at the awards ceremony held at the Singapore Suntec Convention Centre for the Tax Free World Association (TFWA) Asia Pacific exhibition. The moment was witnessed by the industry's trade members, media partners as well as the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), who also won an award as “Airport Authority in Asia Pacific with the Most Supportive Approach to Travel Retail”.

For Nuance-Watson (Singapore), winning the two awards means a strong boost of morale and confidence, especially at this time when the much coveted Perfumes & Cosmetics Concession is up for tender. The achievement further demonstrates that Nuance-Watson, the largest beauty retailer in Singapore, is highly respected and well-supported by its travel retail partners.

“Winning the two awards is a nice surprise and finishing touch to our many months of tireless hard work and discussions to finalise our tender bid that was submitted this morning,” said Ken Tse. The Raven Fox Awards ceremony incidentally fell on the same day as the tender bid submission for the Perfumes & Cosmetics Concession at Changi Airport.
