The Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI) is now accepting applications for companies interested in a special business fact-finding mission to China.
The trip is scheduled for Nov. 5-15, 2007, and is limited to 10 people in order to maximize the networking experience.
"This is a unique and inexpensive opportunity for IFAI members who are interested in developing business relationships in China," IFAI President Stephen Warner said.
"The fact-finding mission will give you a chance to explore markets in China for your products, meet with key Chinese textile company executives, and to see firsthand the operations of U.S. companies that are already established in China."
Warner and Li-Ying Yu, IFAI's China representative, will lead the fact-finding mission, which will include visits to Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou and Suzhou.
Highlights of the fact-finding mission include: • High-level meetings with government and textile association executives, including the leaders of the China National Textile & Apparel Council, the highest ranking organization for the Chinese textile industry. • Private lunch and dinner meetings with high-quantity consumers of specialty fabrics, including those in the automotive, construction and sign industries. • Tours to six end-product factories and textile coating operations, including a special visit to the HaiNing Industrial Park, one of only four specialty fabrics industrial park clusters located in China.
