Commodity Exchange attracts 63 contracts

State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange earned around US $113.1 million in total from nearly 63 deals, last week.

Polypropylene attracted maximum demand from UAE, US, Germany, UK and British Virgin Islands.

Turkmen hand-made carpets, cotton yarn, cattle pelts, washed Karakul wool, grey fabric and grey terry fabric, men's valenki, waste of grey fabric, knitwear and textile products saw huge markets through Azerbaijani, Belarusian, British Virgin Island, Cypriot, Chinese, Danish, Hungarian, Indian, Kyrgyz, Pakistani, Russian, Turkish, Ukrainian, US, and UAE entrepreneurs.

British, Belarusian, Cypriot, Chinese, Marshall, Pakistani, Russian, Swiss and Singaporean traders showed interest in varieties of cotton and lint-cotton.

Turkmen manufacturers procured more than Manat 3,379 billion worth of cotton lint for domestic consumption.
